The SPIN3 Interregional Positioning Service, through the collaboration between three regional bodies (Lombardy Region, Piedmont Region and Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta) and using advanced detection technologies, provides a correction system for GNSS satellite data.
Thanks to the new instruments installed, the network is ready to manage all constellations (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU).
Since November, following the testing carried out by CSI Piemonte, the new CORS have been activated, ensuring uniform distribution across the Lombardy region.
Stonex has supplied high-performance latest generation permanent stations consisting of SC2200 Receiver and SA1200 Choke Ring Antenna, all already operational and connected to the control center.
